Solo traveler Beware

The bed was comfy and the staff were very nice. There was ice cream in the lobby if you needed it, pretty sweet deal for a hot day. The room had a fridge that was cold which was good since I had to keep my drinks chilled.

It wasn’t cheap to stay there but still acceptable.

i almost gave a good review, but then i couldn’t ignore the holes in the wall and the smoke detector that was just hanging there, no batteries. the staff’s indifference to my complaints was absolutely appalling. i would expect better treatment as a guest, maybe a complimentary upgrade. stay away from this disaster.

During my stay at Laker Inn, I truly appreciated the friendly and helpful lobby staff who assisted with all my needs. The availability of ice cream in the lobby area was a delightful treat on hot days, adding a charming touch.

Decent place for a quick stay

We had a pretty good time here. The room was clean, and the TV worked just fine. There wasn’t too much noise, which was nice. Also, the ice cream in the lobby was a cool treat after a hot day! Just wish the laundry room had been open.

Comfortable beds in the room. Staff seemed disorganized and check-in was confusing. Ice cream in the lobby added a nice touch. The walls had some damage and needed attention. Would consider staying again if things improve.
